Mr. Aleksei Ya. StanonisExecutive Director(Appointed as Executive Director on 29 July 2020, served as Acting Executive Director from 10 May 2020 to 29 July 2020, Deputy Executive Director from 4 October 2019 to 10 May 2020 and Assistant Executive Director from 23 April 2019 to 4 October 2019) Education: Currently: B.A. in International Relations, Institute of Oriental Studies - School of Regional and International Studies, Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia (2016-2020) Mr. Aleksei Stanonis became a member of MUNRFE in 2014 being a junior high school student. For 6 years, he has participated in numerous conferences as a delegate and was awarded as the Outstanding Delegate at MUNRFE Annual Conferences in 2015 and 2017 and as a member of an Outstanding Delegation at MUNRFE AC 2015 and National Model UN 2018 in New York, USA. He also served as the Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs (Security Council President) at MUNRFE AC 2018, Security Council President at Far Eastern MUN 2017, General Assembly President at FEMUN 2018, and Secretary-General of MYNRFE AC 2019. Besides, Aleksei occupied several positions in MUNRFE leadership, including Vladivostok Club Vice-President and President (2017-2018). Since April 2019, he has been a member of the Board, and now he serves as MUNRFE Executive Director. Throughout his MUN career, Aleksei has been an active participant of various international youth events: XIX World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, Korea-Russia Youth Dialog 2017 in Phenchang (RoK), Russia-NATO youth round tables in Moscow and Brussels,Belgium, VI International Conference of Young Orientalists “East Asia in changing world” at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, “Future of the European Security System” workshop in Berlin (Germany). As an International Relations undergraduate student, Aleksei had a privilege to get an internship in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. Currently, he has his internship in Russky Technopark as an Assistant Adviser to CEO on International Relations.
Ms. Daria V. ZlydarAssistant Executive Director(Appointed as Assistant Executive Director on August 6 2020) Education: Currently: A 4th-year B.A. student of International Relations, Institute of Oriental Studies - School of Regional and International Studies, Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia Ms. Daria Zlydar joined MUNRFE in 2017 and since that time she has been a delegate to five MUN Conferences. Along with her teammates, she received the “Outstanding Delegation” award at the FEMUN 2018, as well as the Outstanding Delegate”, “Best Document”, and “Outstanding Delegation” awards in frames of the MUNRFE AC 2018. This significant attainment granted her the credentials to participate in the NMUN in New York, the USA, in March 2019 and was awarded as the member of the Outstanding Delegation. Committing meaningfully to the MUNRFE Vladivostok Club’s activities Ms. Zlydar occupied the position of the Vladivostok Club President (2019), Senior Program Associate (2019-2020) and then the Senior Associate for Development (2020). Except for a wide debating career, Ms. Zlydar served as a GA Third Committee Secretary at the FEMUN 2019, World Bank Chairperson at the MUNRFE AC 2019, and the FEMUN 2020 Secretary-General. Portraying her leadership abilities and high level of professionalism she served as the adviser of the MUNRFE delegation to International MUN Malaysia 2019 and received “Best Position Paper” award. In December 2019, she was selected to perform the duties of an adviser of the team to NMUN-NY 2020. |
