FEMUN - GA Officials
In accordance with UN4MUN format, delegates play a substantive role in the Conference than they do in typical MUN simulations, which adds to the appeal of their participation. Since the decision-making in the real United Nations is done primarily by the Member States, the same procedure is applied in the FEMUN 2023.
In frames of FEMUN, General Assembly Officials (GAO) are the Chairpersons elected among the delegates by delegates.
The responsibilities of the GAO include:
- monitoring the work of the committee;
- conducting the line-by-line review;
- preparing reports on the work of the Committee.
In order to manage the work of the Committee efficiently, GAO should be experts in their agendas, should have a profound knowledge on their Committee, its mandate and scope of work.
At FEMUN 2023, the GAO will be elected for the following Committees: General Assembly Second Committee and General Assembly Third Committee. The position of GAO is perfect for those who desire to:
- observe the Conference from the perspective of the Secretariat;
- acquire experience in the sphere of moderating the Committee’s work;
- get a chance to make a significant impact on the functioning of the Committee;
- deepen the knowledge in the UN4MUN procedure.

CHAIRPERSON OF THE GA SECOND COMMITTEE
Ms. Svetlana Stroiteleva
"My name is Svetlana Stroiteleva, 20 y. o., English level - B2-C1. I was born and raised in Vladivostok, Russia. I'm a sophomore in Far Eastern Federal University, studying International Relations.
In 2022, I became a member of MUNRFE, joining the Vladivostok Club after the Autumn Master-Classes, where I received the Distinguished Delegate Award. Then, I took part in MUNRFE Annual Conference 2022, where I became a recipient of two awards: Special Recognition and Best Document. Therefore, I was honored to become a part of the MUNRFE delegation to C-MIMUN 2023, representing MUNRFE on the biggest MUN in Russia."
CHAIRPERSON OF THE GA THIRD COMMITTEE
Ms. Arina Bukreeva
"Being a school student, I already was a young leader, since I occupied the position of the Students Self-governed Council Chairperson.
In 2021, I joined the MUNRFE Vladivostok Club. I was an Outstanding delegate at my first Final Conference in frames MUNRFE Autumn Master-Classes 2021. After that, I participated in two MUNRFE Annual Conferences in 2021 and 2022 both years in the World Bank Committee as representative of USA and Russian Federation. Therewithal I represented the People’s Republic of China in General Assembly Third Committee during FEMUN 2022.
Currently, I carry out duties of the MUNRFE Vladivostok Club President. This position gave me an opportunity to become a lecturer on public speaking, gain knowledge about the procedure of MUNRFE Conferences while suprevising the Round Table 2023, and become a reliable person for the Club Members."
