In accordance with the MUNRFE Charter, the Advisory Council is the collegial governing body of the Organization that operates in between the MUNRFE Assembly sessions. The mandate of the Council includes but is not limited to:
► approval of MUNRFE Development Fund reports and budgets;
► approval of the mid-term and short-term roadmaps;
► elections of the MUNRFE Executive Director;
► assessment of the ED (and the Board) performance.
The Council may take any other matter for its consideration if deems necessary, except for the exclusive powers of the Assembly. The meetings of the Council are conducted when necessary, but no less than once in six months. The Council decides its composition within the following framework: the Executive Director is an ex-officio member, no other members of the MUNRFE Board are members of the Council, the total membership is 3-5 people. The Advisory Council is headed by the Chairman, who is elected by the Council among its members for a one-year term. The Executive Director cannot be elected as the Chairman. The Chairman is responsible for the performance of the Council and acts on its behalf in between the meetings of the Council. Today’s composition of the Council is as follows:
