Task Force 2012
The second week of October was special for Model United Nations of the Russian Far East due to the simple fact – Task Force 2012. Although it was conducted by the efforts of two people, still it was the first event of such kind since 2009.
This time two experienced MUNRFE members – Vladimir Tananykin and Andrey Kozinets – conducted several lectures and trainings in frames of Autumn Master Classes in Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk Clubs. The second point was the intensive communication with club members and sharing of experience. This project for sure will contribute a lot to success of the AMC in all locations and will boost the cooperation among clubs.
Andrey Kozinets
For me this project was very important for several reasons. First of all, as Managing Director, I felt my responsibility to invest my personal skills and experience not only in distant-advisorship of Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk Clubs, but “physical” participation in clubs’ activities. Now I can say for sure that if you want to know in detailed way the “truth of life” in different MUNRFE locations, you should visit them in sort of a business trip. It is the best way to get this knowledge, because when you visit other clubs only for inter-club projects, let it be Conferences, Advanced Leadership Schools or the Presidents Council, you will not see the everyday life.
The second point is certainly desire to help our clubs recruit as many people as possible, taking into consideration some disproportion which we have in the organization right now. And it was really pleasant for me to see many bright participants of Master Classes both in Blago and Khv.
Due to the project planning I was more oriented to Blagoveshensk, and Vladimir was more oriented to Khabarovsk Club. Nevertheless, for me it was a great pleasure to work in Khabarovsk and feel that cozy atmosphere in the Club. It was really great to read a lecture with Kate Churkina, I believe that she will for sure have a great future, because she is an extremely talented person. What I was always admiring about the Khabarovsk MUNRFE is the great level of mutual friendship and trust. It is almost impossible to express this feeling in words; if you want to feel it, you just need to have such experience. I see that the Club is a real big family and I wish all the best for Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club in the future.
And here I want to say many-many words about Blagoveshchensk Club. This part of my trip, this very experience was really one of the most pleasant and exciting for me for the whole year probably. “Blago-go-go” is right now not just words for me.
I should say that I really adore this people who are extremely energetic, interesting and singular. For me BlagoMUN Club and its life was always like enigma, like something very mysterious and incomprehensible. This trip let me plunge into that life and atmosphere and I found out answers to many questions.
The BlagoMUNRFE Club has a special atmosphere – extremely interesting and addictive; it is a real brotherhood. I have experienced an exciting felling when you see that each member of the club has an outstanding personality and individuality.
I want to express my gratitude to each member of Blagoveshensk Club and I hope that thanks to this Task Force we have not only established stronger relations of the “business-format”, but became great friends, and that is the most important thing, in my opinion.
Vladimir Tananykin
Even though I spent quite a long time in MUNRFE and participated in numerous projects of this organization, I can say that participation in Task-Force 2012 gave me a lot of new feelings and emotions that I never got before.
First of all I felt this atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding that Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club has and to work in such atmosphere was really a pleasure. When I just arrived to this city in the same day, I attended the Club Meeting of Kha Club and I was quite shocked by the energy and passion that they have – the members were almost fighting for the positions in the club, starting from Cabinet positions and finishing with those who wants to be responsible for tables and placards during mini-conference. Especially young generation is so passionate about MUNRFE and the development of the Club, and I really feel proud of them because the majority of them are kids from Fire Starter 2012! By the way, all of them are advisers during Master-Classes in Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club.
The second event that I visited was Master Classes, as I delivered two lectures in the row there together with Pavel Nesterov and Daria Stolbikova. I want to express my gratitude for these wonderful people for giving me a lot of positive emotions during the process of preparation of these lectures and during the process of lecture reading itself. I hope that I managed to share my knowledge and my experience with you and with participants of Master Classes. Even though it was quite challengeable for both me and you, as I felt like I’m reading lectures during the first time, taking into consideration the unknown auditorium, but I think we did a great job together.
Also I visited and, actually, chaired one of the training debates in Khabarovsk and I want to say that the level of debates in this club is rapidly increasing, simply just because they pay lots of attention to debates and train them every week. Some of the delegates were quite well prepared even though it was not their agenda item, on which they research to the XI IC, some of them were less prepared, but what I liked most of all – they come and debate!!! And I wish you that you never stop this process of development in any sphere of MUN life, especially in debates, and don’t lose this atmosphere of passion and friendly energy that you have.
I also want to express especial gratitude to the President of Khabarovsk club Victoria Shevchenko, for her contribution in my successful work in this wonderful city, for hosting me and for giving a possibility to attend all these events that I visited.
And as the conclusion I want to say that if you have an opportunity to be a member of Task-Force team – never lose it! I consider that the Task-Force is the ideal instrument for doing it as one of the key elements in success of the organization is knowledge transition. And when you feel that it’s your time to invest in future of the organization – donate your knowledge and experience in people who really need it, and you will get a lot more in return.
Thank you, MD Team and Khabarovsk Club, for this unforgettable trip.
