71 participants graduated from "Set New Start to Take the Flight"
From the 8th of October to the 2nd of November Vladivostok MUNRFE Club was conducting Autumn Master Classes 2015 “Set new start to take the flight” that opened its doors for the new generation of young ambitious leaders. Under the leadership of Ms. Evgenia Belous and Ms. Anastasia Yermoshina Master Classes were started with the Big Presentation where Dr. Sergey V. Ivanets, the President of the Far Eastern Federal University, and Mr. Evgeny S. Volosastov, the Second Secretary of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Vladivostok, came to greet more than 130 students who were willing to try a chance of four weeks of trainings and lectures. Young leaders were actively involved in the process of team-building and negotiations, taking the roles of future leaders and diplomats. The second week of self-development started with division into teams. As a result, 9 teams were created and headed by 12 Vladivostok Club members, who performed the duties of advisers. Prior the Master Classes, advisers were trained to lead their teams and to cope with difficulties during the Advisers’ Training Week. During the last week the participants had an opportunity not only to have fun during the Country Presentations but also to work hard and to prepare for the traditional Final Conference where 70 delegates tried themselves as diplomats of different states. Future newcomers debated as hard as real representatives to the United Nations. At the graduation party 71 participants received their certificates and the delegates who took first places in the Committees of the Final Conference were announced.
The Best Delegates were the 2nd year master student of the School of Natural Science, Ms. Lidia Makarova (Security Council), the 1st year students of the School of Regional and International Studies, Mr. Dmitry Litvinov (ECOSOC) and Ms. Saiho Mongush (UNESCO). The winners will have a chance to participate in the Annual MUNRFE Conference 2015 free of charge and to represent one of the permanent members of the Security Council – the Peoples’ Republic of China. The majority of participants are forming their own teams and looking forward to their first conference.
Vladivostok MUNRFE Club would like to express its deepest gratitude to the Priority Center and English bakery “5 o’clock” for their contribution for the project implementation. We are looking forward to our future strong cooperation.
