In accordance with UN4MUN procedure, delegates play a more substantive role in the Conference rather than they do in typical MUN simulations, so the Elections of the UN General Assembly Officials were conducted prior FEMUN 2017. According to the results, the following representatives were elected and further have successfully performed their duties of the GA Officials:
President of the General Assembly - Mr. Igor Voronin (Netherlands)
Chairperson for the General Assembly 2nd Committee - Mr. Alexander Grishin (Uruguay)
Chairperson for the General Assembly 6th Committee - Ms. Ekaterina Sadovskaia (USA)
The duties of the Security Council President were performed by Mr. Alexey Stanonis (Uruguay) in accordance with the rotation order of the UN Security Council members.
During the entire Conference the delegates were striving to achieve an ultimate goal, to reach consensus on the most crucial global issues. As a result, both GA committees simulated at the Conference adopted resolutions by acclamation, as well as the Security Council passed its resolution by a unanimous vote.
