APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders
On July 3, the APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders Program 2017 has been officially opened in Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia. MUNRFE is the co-organizer of the Program leading the Project Management component of the event and providing advisers to guide the work of foreign participants.
MUNRFE is represented at the event by the organizers and lecturers Mr. Vitaly Savenkov and Ms. Ksenia Shevtsova, advisers Ms. Elena Kiseleva, Ms. Yana Krasnitskaya, Ms. Anna Timokhina, Ms. Julia Nedelkina, and Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova; and participants Ms. Veronika Tkachenko and Ms. Alice Ruabceva.
During the first two days, the participants plunged into the working atmosphere gaining profound knowledge on the Global Agenda, Sustainable Development Goals, international governance, cultural diversity, and project management. The educational component was opened by the lecture of FEFU Vice President for International Relations Dr. Victoria V. Panova on the Institution of global and regional governance. Moreover, participants had a chance to learn about cultural diversity from the Professor of FEFU School of Humanities Mr. Oleg Davidov. The project management component was fully introduced by MUNRFE leadership: Director-General Mr. Vitaly E. Savenkov delivered the lecture on the Global Agenda while MUNRFE Counselor on Project Management Ms. Ksenia O. Shevtsova conducted a lecture and a workshop on project management basics.
The 10-day Program includes the academic component aimed at expanding the knowledge of participants on Sustainable Development Goals in general and particular the topics of international partnership, ecology, entrepreneurship and innovations, medicine, and cultural diversity. Moreover, the participants as global citizens will work on the creation of the projects implementing one of the SDGs that they are going to conduct in their counties and cities after the end of the Program. Finally, the most outstanding project will be selected by the competent jury comprised of FEFU specialists in the abovementioned spheres, and awarded with the special prize from MUNRFE and FEFU.
