APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders' Program 2017 has been successully conducted
On July, 11, 2017 APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders' Program 2017 has been officially concluded. Being a co-organizer of such an important event for the whole Asia-Pacific Region, Model United Nations of the Russian Far East is proud to underscore the fact that all substantial matters were under the leadership of the members of the Organization. Throughout the Program the participants from China, Republic of Korea, Japan, New Zealand, United States, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore were gaining exclusive knowledge from the most outstanding experts and professors of the Far Easter Federal University. It is important to say that members of MUNRFE also had a chance to provide participants with all peculiarities of project-management, starting from the creation of the concept and finishing with formation of Work Breakdown Structure and calculation of the budget. For ten days the teams were preparing their final projects under the mentorship of MUNRFE advisers, namely the Executive Director Ms. Elena Kiseleva, Vladivostok Club President Ms. Yana Krasnitskaya, Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova, Ms. Anna Timokhina and Ms. Julia Nedelkina.
Each young leader scrutinized every new topic in order to provide the jury of the Program with the best project, that will have an essential impact towards the implementation of Global Goals. As a result, five teams presented outcomes of their hard work to distinguished jury. The project which has been created with all essential steps of project-management, was recognized as the best one. Hence, under the leadership of Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova the team with the project "Green Spot" was granted with the first place in the competition. Every member of the best team was provided with unique prize from the representative of APRU International Secretariat, Ms. Elaine Hung. In addition, the whole team was granted with free participation in MUNRFE Annual Conference 2017, which became a consequential prize from Model United Nations of the Russian Far East. The APRU-FEFU ULP 2017 became a fascinating event not only for participants, but also for members of the Organization, who were involved into the implementation of the Program. Such events are tremendously important for the Organization due to the fact that they help MUNRFE to become better. That is why the background that MUNRFE gained during this Program will contribute to the growth of succeeding generation of leaders of the Organization.
