Vitaly Savenkov took part in the round table devoted to Russia-India relations
On August 10, 2017 the Far Eastern Federal University Expert and Analytical Center conducted the round table devoted to Russia-India relations. The event was attended by honorable guests: a.i. Representative of the MFA of Russia in Vladivostok Mr. Vladimir Konovalov, the Consul General of India to Vladivostok Mr. Vivek Singh, the Director-General of LLC “Primorsky Almaz” Mr. Sunil Gandhi. FEFU experts and researchers were represented by Prof. Felix Azhimov, Dr. Kirill Kolesnichenko, Dr. Artyom Lukin, Dr. Andey Gubin, Mr. Dmitry Shelest and the retired MUNRFE Director-General Mr. Vitaly Savenkov.
The round table remarkably commemorated the 70th Anniversary of Indian Independence this year. The main topics for the discussion included the issues of strategic partnership between Moscow and New Delhi, economic cooperation, including the Advanced Economic Zones and Vladivostok Free Port, as well as cultural exchange. Mr. Savenkov has successfully presented his report on the Russia-India cooperation within the international organizations and frameworks, such as the United Nations, BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Eurasian Economic Union and etc. In course of fruitful and productive discussion all participants have agreed to continue such projects in future.
