MUNRFE Far Eastern Model UN 2018 Grant Competition results
Model United Nations of the Russian Far East is glad to announce the winners of the Grant Competition for the participation in the Far Eastern Model UN 2018:
1. Ms. Ekaterina Shalaginova (Russia, Ekaterinburg)
2. Mr. Felix Portier (Russia, Moscow)
3. Mr. Mebius Kramer (Russia, Moscow)
4. Mr. Ahmed Jalal (Australia, Sydney)
The winners have demonstrated their profound knowledge regarding the agenda items of the Conference along with the aspiration to attend the event. In frames of the Grant Competition the participants were required to submit a Motivational Letter and an Essay on one of the topics of the Conference.
The Grant Competition is an inseparable part of each MUNRFE Conference aimed at the attraction of non-Vladivostok and international participants. The documents submitted in frames of the Competition were evaluated by the Secretariat on the following criteria: content, style, format, grammar and vernacular. The applicants were required to show the level of their knowledge on the agenda items, referring to the documents adopted by the United Nations and other international organizations. Besides, the applicants were to describe their vision of the agenda items and to submit the documents in accordance with the format outlined in the Documents Writing Guide.
MUNRFE warmly congratulates the winners of the Grant Competition and wish them successful participation for FEMUN 2018.
