Mr. Savenkov and Ms. Kiseleva selected for WEMUN Expo 2018
MUNRFE Governing Council Chairman, Mr. Vitaly Savenkov and former MUNRFE Executive Director, Ms. Elena Kiseleva have successfully completed international selection for the position in the UN4MUN Secretariat team at WEMUN Expo 2018, that shall be implemented on August 3-6 at the Beijing Olympic Convention Center in Beijing, China. Throughout the selection process both MUNRFE representatives demonstrated their best competences and deep knowledge in the UN4MUN approach and became the only representatives from the Russian Federation in the UN4MUN Secretariat. As a result, Mr. Savenkov will be performing the duties of the Security Council Director, whereas Ms. Kiseleva was selected as the ECOSOC Secretary, which will be simulated for the first time applying UN4MUN procedure at WEMUN Expo.
Last year, Mr. Savenkov and Ms. Kiseleva were both selected to be perform the duties of two Security Council Directors (university and high school respectively) at WEMUN 2017.
The conference will be implemented applying UN4MUN Concept and will gather around 1000 participants worldwide. WEMUN Expo is an internationally recognized Model United Nations platform headquartered in Beijing, China. It constitutes the largest permanent Model UN conference in Asia and gathers around 1500 delegates from 30 countries. WEMUN Expo takes place at the beginning of August and brings together members of other internationally-recognized Model UN organizations as staff members from Boston University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, UC Berkeley, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University and the Hague International Model United Nations.
