Ms. Kiseleva and Ms. Kosyreva at WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2018
On July 26 – August 1, MUNRFE Counselors Ms. Elena A. Kiseleva and Ms. Aleksandra Kosyreva have successfully participated in the implementation of the WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2018 organized by the World Federation of United Nations Associations in cooperation with Kyung Hee University and the Hope to the Future Association. Prior the camp Elena and Aleksandra have completed the international selection process and became the only representatives from Russia along with other 20 selected trainers from Canada, France, Germany, India and the Republic of Korea. Ms. Kiseleva was appointed as a Lead Trainer for the Middle School track, whereas Ms. Kosyreva was a regular trainer for High School Track.
Overall WFUNA Youth Camp Korea 2018 gathered around 200 elementary, middle and high school students from the Republic of Korea. In frames of the Camp the participants participated in a wide range of lessons and activities aimed at expansion of knowledge in United Nations system, Sustainable Development Goals, negotiations, consensus-building and many more. In particular, besides regular classes, the participants had an opportunity to attend the lecture by the Former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Republic of Korea to the United Nations, H.E. Oh Joon. Moreover, the participants also took part in the trainings on the WIMUN approach procedure by Mr. Willian Yotive, who currently works as Model UN Coordinator for the WFUNA.
MUNRFE has been involved in the implementation of WFUNA Youth Camp for two years so far, as last year, Ms. Kiseleva was selected as the Lead Trainer for the WFUNA Youth Camp 2017. MUNRFE warmly greets our ladies on the successful completion of the WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2018.
