MUNRFE Blagoveshchensk Club successfully conducted Autumn Master Classes in Amur State University
On October 6, MUNRFE Blagoveshchensk Club successfully conducted the Final Debates as the conclusion of Autumn Master Classes (MC). As the result of the debates, Mr. Shen Zeyu was recognized as “The best delegate” and Mr. Igor Nurgali received “The best speech” award.
The agenda item of the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture, "Promotion of international cooperation in the struggle to illicit traffic in cultural property and its damage to the cultural heritage of nations", was put forward for discussion. During the debates, delegates showed their public speaking skills and knowledge obtained at the project as well as fully expressed their desire to negotiate and cooperate.
September 17th was the first day of the Master Classes. More than 20 university and school students joined the project held in Amur State University. During the project, its participants had an opportunity to contribute to their self-development and, in particular, develop their public speaking skills. Blagoveshchensk Club members, namely Ms. Elisaveta Sungurova, Mr. Ilya Kopot’, Ms. Olga Vikhareva, Ms. Ekaterina Pankratyeva, Ms. Lyudmila Musenko, Ms. Oksana Guliychuk, Ms. Varvara Muler, shared with the participants their knowledge on the United Nations structure, goal-setting, and principles of the negotiation process.
Moreover, Ms. Galina Salnikova, the invited guest from MUNRFE Vladivostok Club, delivered a lecture on the concept of leadership for the attendees of the MC. This cooperation of the Clubs is a great chance to proceed developing friendship ties of the two MUNRFE Clubs.
