MUNRFE took part in the XII Russky Mir Assembly
MUNRFE Governing Council Chairman Mr. Vitaly Savenkov was invited to participate in the XII Russky Mir Assembly. He joined the delegation of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russky Mir Foundation, one of the MUNRFE long-standing partners, headed by Mr. Alexander Zubritsky. The Assembly was conducted on November 2-4 in the city of Tver, Russia. For several days, about 600 people from more than 70 countries got acquainted with Russian culture and the capital of the Upper Volga region.
The key event of the Assembly was the panel discussion “The Universality of Russian Culture”, which was held at the site of the Tver Academic Drama Theater. Also, a number of round tables was held, namely “Traditional religions of the Russian world in the dialogue of cultures”, “Patriotism in Russian history and culture”, “Russian language and education of the future world”, “Russian theater abroad”, and “Young Russian-speaking journalism in the global information space”.
During the event, the delegates immersed in Russian culture by listening to the music by Russian composers, watching documentaries and feature films. Also, the guests got acquainted with the educational literature on the Russian language, saw pictures and products of folk crafts of the Tver region.
