MUNRFE representatives at WIMUN New York 2019
On January 30 - February 2, Ms. Elena Kiseleva and Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva have successfully accomplished their duties as a part of Secretariat at World Federation of the United Nations Associations (WFUNA) International MUN (WIMUN) 2019 in New York, USA. Having completed a competitive international selection process Ms. Kiseleva and Ms. Kosyreva were appointed as a Security Council Director (University) and a Secretary of the General Assembly Committee (High School) respectively. Moreover, MUNRFE representatives successfully participated in WFUNA Round Table on the sidelines of WIMUN 2019, where they shared their experience in the realm of the implementation of conferences with the application of the most accurate UN simulation.
WIMUN 2019 gathered more than 1000 participants of the most diverse cultures and backgrounds. WIMUN is implemented with the application of WIMUN approach - the most accurate UN simulation in the world, which provides an opportunity for the delegates to negotiate using the real UN rules of procedure.
For the fourth year in a row MUNRFE representatives are successfully selected to perform the duites of WIMUN secretariat at its conferences, which include: WIMUN New York 2015 and WIMUN India 2016 attended by Mr. Savenkov as GA Secretary and SC Director respectively; WIMUN New York 2017, attended by Ms. Elena Kiseleva and Ms. Victoria Yavorskaya as GA secretaries; WIMUN New York 2018 attended by Ms. Kiseleva (USG DGACM), Mr. Savenkov (SC Director) and Ms. Kosyreva (GA Secretary); and WIMUN India 2018 attended by Mr. Savenkov (SC Director). MUNRFE warmly congratulates Ms. Kiseleva and Ms. Kosyreva on the successful implementation of WIMUN 2019.
