Blagoveshchensk Club was represented by the President, Elena Kharitonova, and her Vice – Julia Nedel’kina, FireStarter 2013 Alumna. Ms. Kharitonova presented a project of summer program “FireStarter 2014” on behalf of prospective coordinator of the event, Liliya Yakubova. The whole delegation of Vladivostok Club was comprised of the winners of XII International Conference (IC): the Acting President, Kseniya Shevtsova and her associates – Lavrentiy Pak and Alexander Yugai. The work of the hosting Club was introduced by its adviser, Viktoriya Shevchenko, MUNRFE Delegate to New York National MUN 2013, Vladislav Ulanov, XII IC Best Documents Award holder, and Ms. President, Elena Kiseleva, MUNRFE Delegate to NMUN-Korea 2013. Ms. Kiseleva also expressed the desire of her Club to conduct the V Regional Conference, with its project application submitted prior the Council’s meeting. The session was presided by the Managing Director, Vitaliy Savenkov, assisted by the Executive Director, Olga Katina.

The first day was fully devoted to the reports of the Presidents about the activities held by the Clubs in the previous term, work of their Cabinets and plans for the forthcoming year. After that the report of the MD Team was taken into consideration. A lot of time was spent on the discussion of the projects submitted for the deliberation by the Council. Finally it was decided that the V Regional Conference will be held for the second time in a row in Khabarovsk city on 30 April – 4 May 2014 under the leadership of Elena Kiseleva, the winner of the previous Regional Conference. Another key project, summer educational program for school children, “FireStarter 2014” will take place in August in Blagoveshchensk by the efforts of Liliya Yakubova, experienced adviser and FireStarter Alumna.

Besides, on the 29th of January another crucial decisions were taken by the Organization. First of all, there was announced a call for MUNRFE International Conference 2014 projects, any MUNer has a chance to implement the most exciting event of MUNRFE, application are due on February 15. The next Resolution Contest will be conducted in April on exact date and topic determined in March. A number of amendments to the MUNRFE Charter were adopted. As a major one, the titles “Managing Director” and “MD team” since now are substituted by “Director-General” and “the Board” respectively. Moreover, the Code of Conduct, issued in 2011 has been admitted as an official document imposing rules of decorum on MUNRFE members. Large part of changes affected the work of Cabinets, procedure of its formation and dismissal. Finally, the Presidential Council itself was reformed, now it will be gathered only once per year, but with an opportunity to hold an urgent session. The XXV Presidential Council of MUNRFE will be conducted again in Khabarovsk in a year.
