MUNRFE Annual Conference 2015: Report
The biggest event for all MUNRFE members, the Annual Conference 2015, was held in MUNRFE birthplace, the city of Khabarovsk, at the Pacific National University on 27-30 November. Traditionally, the opening ceremony was attended by the leadership of MUNRFE and the hosting institution: MUNRFE Director-General Mr. Vitaly E. Savenkov and Vice-President for Educational, Extra-Curricular Activities and Social Issues of the Pacific National University Dr. Alexander R. Mshvildadze. The delegates were offered to join the following committees: the Security Council (in English), the Economic and Social Council (in English), the World Bank (in English) and the Third Committee of the General Assembly (in Russian). It was the second time when MUNRFE Annual Conference simulated Russian-speaking committee, thus, this practice led the Organization to the entirely new level. Moreover, two seminars in English and Russian languages were conducted by MUNRFE Director-General Mr. Vitaly Savenkov and MUNRFE alumnus, MUNFW-2009 delegate, Mr. Sergey Gubchenko respectively. The Conference was concluded with the banquet where all participants were granted certificates and the best of them were announced.
Three awards as the Distinguished Delegations for contribution to the delegates' preparation for the MUNRFE Annual Conference 2015 were given to:
- Far Eastern Federal University;
- Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service;
- Pacific National University.
Three awards of Outstanding Delegations were granted to:
- United States of America (Vladivostok);
- French Republic (Vladivostok);
- United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (Vladivostok).
The person who demonstrated the most efficient skills in picking appropriate information and representing it in a rather laconic way, the author of the Best Documents of MUNRFE Annual Conference 2015 is Ms. Alyona Filiminova (Vladivostok), United States of America (Security Council).
The Outstanding Delegate in the Russian-speaking Third Committee of the General Assembly is one of the youngest participants of the Conference Mr. Alexey Stanonis (Vladivostok), United States of America.
Finally, the delegates who demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, accountability, knowledge, English and debate skills, those who will represent the entire Organization at the National Model United Nations 2016 in New York, USA, those who became the Outstanding Delegates of the MUNRFE Annual Conference 2015 are:
- Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova (Vladivostok), French Republic (ECOSOC);
- Ms. Lidia Makarova (Vladivostok), People’s Republic of China (Security Council);
- Ms. Alexandra Gritsenko (Vladivostok), United States of America (World Bank).
This Conference would not be real without special people, who devoted countless days and nights to the Conference preparation. These are: the Secretariat officers, the Conference Management Team and the Department of Public Information. First of all, MUNRFE would like to thank Mr. Alexander Yugai who served as the Secretary-General and performed his leadership duties on the highest level. Furthermore, MUNRFE expresses its gratitude to Ms. Anna Ivanova for her contribution towards successful implementation of the Conference. The special gratitude also goes to the Conference Coordinator, USG for Conference Management - Mr. Vladislav Ulanov together with Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club. MUNRFE would like to express its deepest gratitude to the most experienced team of the Secretariat: Ms. Olga Katina, Ms. Victoria Yavorskaya, Ms. Elena Kiseleva, Ms. Ksenia Shevtsova, Mr. Sergey Lebedev and Mr. Ilya Sinenko. And what is more, MUNRFE thanks the Head of the Department of Public Information - Ms. Anastasia Yermoshina and her team: Ms. Daria Kiseleva, Ms. Olga Velmiskina, Ms. Ekaterina Pudovkina and Ms. Tatiana Milovankina for providing us with photos and the “UNbiased” newspapers.
One more part is written in the history of MUNRFE. Let’s continue to grow and perform on the higher level towards our self-devlopment!
