MUNRFE Round Table 2017 in Far Eastern Federal University
Model United Nations of the Russian Far East is delighted to invite the students of the Far Eastern Federal University to take part in the Round Table 2017, that will be conducted on March 20 – April 1.
The program of the Project is comprised of 5 lectures and trainings related to one of the most important global problems - the threat of global climate change and its influence on the mass migration, - delivered by high-qualified professors of FEFU and experienced MUNRFE members, winners of numerous MUN conferences in New York, Jakarta, Barcelona, Rome, Incheon, Beijing, Tokyo and many other cities worldwide.
On the final event of the project, the students will have a chance to perform as real diplomats at the United Nations, representing assigned countries and discussing the agenda “Influence of Climate Change on External Displacement”, using the knowledge acquired during lectures. The delegate who shows his or her outstanding skills of debating and public speaking, and also deep background of the discussed problem will be recognized as the winner of the Round Table. The award for the best delegate is free participation at the Far Eastern Model United Nations 2017, the only conference applying UN4MUN format in Russia.
