MUNRFE Executive Director selected for the WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2017
MUNRFE Executive Director, Ms. Elena A. Kiseleva has successfully passed international selection process for the position at the WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2017 hosted by the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), Kyung Hee University College of International Studies and Hope to the Future Association. WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2017 will be implemented on July 24-28 in the Kyung Hee University Global Campus. Ms. Kiseleva has successfully completed international selection process having become the only representative from Russia among 20 selected trainers worldwide. Moreover, based on her performance during the interview process and MUN background, especially in the field of UN4MUN, Ms. Kiseleva was appointed as the Lead Trainer by the organizers of the program.
WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea is an educational initiative launched to encourage greater global civic responsibility by involving participants in actionable extra-curricular programs aimed at helping impoverished youth in developing countries. The program aims to raise awareness of the objectives and related challenges of the United Nations by providing a 5-day camp that teaches elementary, middle and secondary school students about the United Nations and international relations in a creative and interactive setting. The program aims to foster global leaders by training youth with simulative education tools such as Model UN. The camp will guide participants to apply these skillsets to build a better understanding of the United Nations system and global issues.
