MUNRFE Vladivostok Club at the All-Russian Children Center “Okean”.
On October 9 the members of MUNRFE Vladivostok Club, in particular, its President Ms. Anna Timokhina, Ms. Yana Krasnitskaya, Mr. Alexey Stanonis, Ms. Polina Varfolomeeva, Mr. Egor Klimovich, Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova, Ms. Julia Nedelkina and Ms. Veronika Tkachenko were invited to the All-Russian Children Center “Okean”. MUNRFE members delivered a lecture on public-speaking for the participants as well as conducted entertaining trainings aimed at enhancement of their skills of effective performance in front of public. High-school students from 9-11 grades had a marvelous opportunity to learn how to prepare a structured speech and how to attract the attention of the audience applying the 12 second strategy.
On October 10 the students were able to apply new knowledge and acquired skills into practice through participation in the panel discussion devoted to the international relations. The participants were actively involved in the process expressing their points of view on the agenda and debating with their opponents. Those who managed to demonstrate their wide background and to defend their position, were chosen as the best speakers. The discussion was moderated by the following MUNRFE members: MUNRFE Vladivostok Club Vice-President Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva, Mr. Andrew Moon, Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova, Mr. Alexey Stanonis, Ms. Polina Varfolomeeva, Mr. Egor Klimovich, Ms. Anastasia Kretova, Mr. Andre Pawira and Ms. Sophia Permyakova.
