MUNRFE Vladivostok Club successfully organized its Autumn Master Classes 2017
On 28 September - 5 November, 2017 MUNRFE Autumn Master Classes (AMC) 2017 “From Obstacles to Opportunities” were successfully held on the premises of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in the city of Vladivostok. The Coordinators of the project, in particular, Mr. Andrew Moon and Ms. Oksana Bozhenova were in charge of its implementation. The project began with the Big Presentation attended by more than 100 FEFU students, where its coordinators, as well as the key-note speakers, namely Dr. Victoria V. Panova, FEFU Vice-President for International Relations and the Executive Director of MUNRFE, Ms. Elena A. Kiseleva welcomed the oncoming participants. The Big Presentation was followed by a series of educational lectures, as well as various trainings aimed at the development of public-speaking, negotiations and leadership skills of the participants.
The significant part of the project was devoted to the team-work: in frames of the AMC 2017 the participants were divided into four groups representing the following countries under the advisory leadership of experienced MUNRFE Vladivostok Club members, in particular: Indonesia (Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova and Ms. Natalya Chan), United States of America (Ms. Yulia Nedelkina and Mr. Andre Pawira), Mexico (Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva and Ms. Veronika Tkachenko) and Russia (Mr. Egor Klimovich and Mr. Calvin Lee). Moreover, the students were able to demonstrate the acquired knowledge as well as to express their creativity while participating in the 12 contest, Law of the Process performance and one of the brightest events of the project - Country Presentation. At the very end of the program the participants of AMC 2017 were granted with a unique opportunity participate in the debates according to the format of Model UN simulation, where each represented a diplomat of the United Nations Security Council or the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. Young leaders were able to elaborate innovative solutions to the problem of gender inequality, and to find ways how to protect civilians in the context of peacekeeping operations. During the closing event of the project, the Graduation Party that was held on November 5, the Organizing Committee of the AMC announced the following awards:

The Outstanding Delegates were granted with a free participation in MUNRFE Annual Conference 2017, while the Distinguished Delegates were credentialed to represent the United Kingdom in the upcoming event with 50% discount for the participation.
