Welcome the Senior Secretariat of the Far Eastern Model UN 2018
MUNRFE is delighted to share some of the exciting news about its upcoming conference - Far Eastern Model UN (FEMUN) 2018. We are glad to welcome the new leaders of our traditional UN4MUN conference - Secretary-General, Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva and Under-Secretary-General for Conference Management, Mr. Egor Klimovich. Both persons have already demonstrated their strong commitment towards MUNRFE development and have proved their professional capacities in frames of various projects. Ms. Kosyreva previously served as Under-Secretary-General for General Assembly Affairs and Conference Management at FEMUN 2017, as an organizer of the Eastern Youth Economic Forum 2017, as well as Regional Program of the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students. Furthermore, Alexandra represented MUNRFE at the following international conferences - National Model United Nations (NMUN) - Japan 2016 and NMUN - New York 2017.
In turn, Mr. Klimovich has been actively involved in the implementation of numerous MUNRFE projects, namely FireStarter 2017, Autumn Master Classes “From Obstacles to Opportunities” and MUNRFE Annual Conference 2017. Furthermore, he became a recipient of Diplomacy Award at FEMUN 2017 and was granted Verbal Commendation at Jogja International Model UN 2017. MUNRFE wishes the new-selected leaders good luck and successful implementation of the conference. This is truly a great honor and responsibility, thus, the Organization wishes Ms. Kosyreva and Mr. Klimovich to demonstrate their skills and capacities to the best of their ability in frames of FEMUN 2018.
Back in 2016 MUNRFE became the first organization in Russia, which implemented its spring conference applying a unique concept - UN4MUN approach. The following format was elaborated by the UN Department for Public Information and represents the most accurate simulation of the real United Nations. Furthermore, in frames of FEMUN 2017 we have hosted the author of this format himself – the former UN staff and the current Model UN Coordinator for the World Federation of United Nations Associations – Mr. Bill Yotive, who has significantly contributed to our conference in a variety of aspects. It is truly delightful for me to acknowledge that MUNRFE shall preserve its tradition of the implementation of this bright event. This year the conference will be implemented on the premises the Far Eastern Federal University on May 4 - 7, 2018.
