MUNRFE receives Best Delegate Award at Churkin Moscow International Model UN
On April 15-20, 2018 MUNRFE delegation took part in the Churkin Moscow International Model United Nations (C-MIMUN). MUNRFE was represented by two members of Vladivostok Club Mr. Vsevolod Cheresov and Mr. Bulat Sibgatullin performing as delegates of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Malawi respectively to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Our delegates have shown a high level of knowledge on the discussed agenda item "Raising Awareness of the Tragedies of Irregular Migration in the Mediterranean Basin", largely contributed to the work of the committee, being all the time professional and active. As a result, Mr. Vsevolod Cheresov was granted with the Best Delegate award.
During the Conference, there were two lectures organized: one on the topic of the "United Nations Reform" and another one on the "Israeli-Palestinian Conflict" delivered by expert of the Valdai Discussion Club, PhD, member of the Oriental Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences - Proff. Irina Zvyagelskaya. Additionally, participants were provided with a training and a mock session on the rules of procedure.
Throughout the history of MUNRFE, there had been only one award at C-MIMUN, Moscow in the year of 2017. This year it is the second time that our delegate is recognized as the Best Delegate at this Conference, hopefully setting up a new rewarding tradition for others to follow. The Organization one more time congratulates the delegation on their successful performance and wishes them to achieve even higher results and further develop themselves as true leaders!
