The project in VSUES has been conducted
On April 23-27, 2018 MUNRFE Vladivostok Club jointly with Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) implemented the project «The situation in the Middle East: History, problems and ways of solutions. Lectures of invited experts» under the leadership of its Coordinators Mr. Konstantin Golnev and Ms. Darya Zlydar. The project was guided by its core aims to enrich knowledge of participants in the field and motivate them for completing further research and widening general background in international relations. On April 23 VSUES assistant professor, Assistant Professor of Legal Sciences Ms. Ella Gorian delivered a lecture on the topic «International community measures implemented in Syria». Moreover, former UN peacekeeper Mr. Evgeniy Krivoscheev provided his personal expertise being involved in the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara.
On April 25 the project was proceeded with a lecture «Modern international relations: challenges and threats of the post-Westphalian era», presented by VSUES professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences Alexander Tushkov.
On the last day of the project, participants had an opportunity to listen to a lecture «Instability in the Middle East as the reflection of trends in modern European and American politics along with geopolitical confrontation between Russia and China from one side and the USA and the European Union from another», delivered by VSUES professor, Head of the Department of Theory and History of Russian and Foreign Law, Doctor of Political Sciences Alexey Mamychev. Besides the personal performances of lecturers, the project was composed of an open discussion between the experts and the attendees from both Far Eastern Federal University and VSUES.
MUNRFE expresses its deepest gratitude to Ms. Ella Gorian, Mr. Evgeniy Krivoscheev, Dr. Alexander Tushkov and Dr. Alexey Mamychev for their significant contribution to the project implementation along with raising students’ knowledge in this sphere, and looks forward further cooperation with VSUES and new joint initiatives.
