The delegation members represented the Republic of Chile in the General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization discussing the following agenda items: People-Centered Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Harnessing Cultural Heritage for Sustainable Development, Safeguarding the Health of Refugee Children and Youth, Rebuilding Community Security in Post-Conflict Iraq and Syria, the Montreal Protocol: Mobilizing for Climate Action as well as Enhancing Economic Competitiveness through Global Access.

The trip was also marked with a wide range of visits to various institutions and youth-led entities that included briefings in the Embassy of Russia in the Peoples Republic of China by Mr. Andrey Denisov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China and the former Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation, Mr. Ivan Zhelokhovtsev, the Deputy Head of the Mission, Mr. Maksim Novoselov, the Senior Counsellor, Mr. Roman Ruzanov, the Third Secretary, Mr. Dorzhi Ganzhurov, the Counsellor, and Mr. Sergey Ermakov, the Coordinator for Non-proliferation and Arms Control Affairs.

The delegation was also privileged to attend the meetings in the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing with Mrs. Olga Melnikova, the Counsellor of the Russian Embassy and the Director of the Center as well as in the China Written Works Copyright Society with Mr. Liang Fei, Vice Director-General, Ms. Wang Danruo, Assistant Director-General as well as Ms. Feng Kaining, Legal and Licensing Department and Foreign Rights Department staff member. MUNRFE members also interacted with Russian Student Association headed by Ms. Victoria Faizulina as well as Shanghai Cooperation Organization Countries Youth League operating under the leadership of Ms. Victoria Khu.
