MUNRFE Vladivostok Club successfully conducted the UN for schools 2020
On October 1-2, the MUNRFE Vladivostok Club conducted its traditional educational project “The UN for schools 2020”. The project was held at the Secondary school №57 with intensive study of the English language in an offline format. An overall number of participants was 53 people consisting of 9 and 10-grades students.
The first part of the event was marked with the interactive lecture on public speaking that was hosted by Ms. Polina Babenko and Ms. Aleksandra Mikhailiuk. Students had an opportunity to immerse themselves into the topic of public presentations and a structure of a speech as well as had an option to refine encountered issues at the Q&A session.
The contest on the 12 seconds technique was the second part of the project, during which participants declaimed the beginning of the speeches. After it, jury consisted of the English teacher, the Coordinator, and the Vice-Coordinator evaluated the performances and awarded 3 winners with souvenirs of the Far Eastern Federal University. Also, it is also important to mention that the project would not be realized without the sufficient work of the designer, Ms. Elizaveta Berezutskaya.
As MUNRFE pursuing the goal of youth leadership development in the Russian Far East, the Organization recognizes the importance of cooperation with secondary and high schools with the vision to bring up the leaders of the future.
