MUNRFE invites to celebrate the UN75 Anniversary
Model United Nations of the Russian Far East is delighted to announce the “UN75 – On the way to sustainable development” project to be held on 22-24 October 2020 online. The official language of the project is Russian.
The project program includes three events. The application process for participation in the all-Russia student essay contest is currently available on http://un75.tilda.ws/. Contestants are invited to share their ideas about the role of the UN in the modern world, as well as to speculate on the topic of achieving the SDGs by the international community. The winners of the contest will be awarded the opportunity to participate in the MUNRFE Annual Conference 2020, which will be held from 3 to 7 December online (http://www.munrfe.ru/ac2020). The documents submission is open until October 9 (23: 59, GMT+10).
An online event will be held from October 22 to 24. The participants will listen to a series of lectures on the past and present of the UN and the Sustainable Development Goals. After that, they will be able to exchange views and in frames of two thematic tracks. Winners of the event will be awarded with certificates and prizes. Registration for the event will last until October 18 (https://forms.gle/uHxzSqpu9AR7VfRw6).
In addition, from October 12, a photo exhibition will be held on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. Students and guests of FEFU will get acquainted with historical photos from the UN photo archive, provided with QR codes with a URL to the description of the images on the project's web portal (https://vk.com/away.php?to=http%3A%2F%2Fun75.tilda.ws%2Fun75_photo_exhibition&cc_key=).
