The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Vitaly Savenkov, Humanitarian Affairs Adviser and MUNRFE alumnus, Ms. Nailia Mirsaitova, Legal Adviser, Ms. Ekaterina Mikheeva, Communication Officer. ICRC representatives delivered the briefing on the fundamental principles of the Organization and its mandate and outlined the role of humanitarian diplomacy and international humanitarian law. The Delegation also learned more about the structure of the ICRC, the work of its social media, and the necessity to remain neutral, independent, and impartial. The meeting was finished with the Q&A session.
