MUNRFE Spring Master-Classes 2023 Report
On April 3-30, the Project entitled “MUNRFE Spring Master-Classes 2023” (SMC 2023) was conducted in the schools of Primorsky Krai that gathered more than 160 students from the Russian Far East.
Ms. Ksenia Zaytceva and Ms. Daria Bakanina served as the Coordinator and Vice-Coordinator of the Project respectively. Project started with the Presentation which was implemented in the schools of Artem, Arsenev, Fokino, Nakhodka, and Ussuriysk. There students were acquainted with the aims and values of the youth-led Organization Model United Nations of the Russian Far East and were explained about MUN format. Moreover, Presentation discovered the unique opportunity for students to raise essential skills, such as public speaking, debates alongside with the professional English during the SMC. The Presentation included information about the United Nations and Sustainable Developments Goals as well. After the theoretical part, participants tried to practice their first mock-session, where school students practiced their debate skills and knowledge of international agendas within the MUN format. Afterwards, all participants were invited to the second part of the Project.
Second part of the SMC 2023 was implemented in an online format, the participants were divided into 3 groups and continued their education via lectures and thematic hometasks. Lectures were aimed to develop such skills as public speaking, debates and negotiation mastery as well as increase knowledge in International Relations and the UN. Every hometask consolidated the materials given in the lectures and fixed the results of the given information.
It is incontestable that without the professional and hard-working team it would be impossible to implement such Project. Thus, the Coordinators’ Team wants to express the deepest gratitude to the Speakers, who took part in the offsite part, traveled in 5 cities of Primorsky Krai with the Presentation of the Project, and showed their devotion and outstanding public speaking skills:

MUNRFE extends the deepest appreciation to the Far Eastern Federal University and Centre for Youth Development of Primorsky Krai for the support of the Spring Master-Classes 2023 and the opportunity for the youth to develop and be professionally competent.
