MUNRFE Councilor Elena Kiseleva at WIMUN India 2019
On April 29 – May 2, MUNRFE Councilor Elena Kiseleva successfully accomplished her duties as a part of Secretariat at the World Federation of the United Nations Associations (WFUNA) International MUN (WIMUN) India 2019.
WIMUN India was implemented at the Jaypee Palace in Agra and gathered more than 300 participants along with the most diverse secretariat representing all the world’s continents. In frames of the conference, Elena performed the duties of the Secretary of the Commission on Population and Development. The conference was implemented with the application of WIMUN approach, which derived from the UN4MUN concept, developed by the United Nations Department of Public Information and represents the most accurate simulation of the United Nations work.
MUNRFE representatives have been involved in a variety of WFUNA conferences and events since 2015, which include WIMUN New York and WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea.
"WIMUN India has been absolutely amazing - from the conference itself to cultural program and social events. We've had an incredible secretariat team and I was truly delighted to be a part of it," - Elena said after her return.
