MUNRFE participates in the All-Russian competition "Leaders of International Cooperation"
In July 2020, Rosmolodezh launched the All-Russian competition "Leaders of International Cooperation". The event is aimed at identifying and supporting active young citizens of Russia possessing their own initiatives in the implementation of international projects and programs at the regional and federal levels. According to the results of the first stage of the competition which consists of filling out an application with a description of experience in the development of international cooperation and proposing a project that would be the best way to activate international humanitarian organizations, 50 people were selected as the finalists, including the MUNRFE Executive Director Aleksei Stanonis.
Experts from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the National Committee for BRICS Research, the Foundation for the Support of Public Diplomacy named after V.I. A.M. Gorchakov, National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations named after E.M. Primakov of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia, as well as the Academy of Youth Diplomacy took part in the evaluation of applications.
The finalists of the extramural stage will travel to Moscow to participate in full-time educational and practical modules aimed at developing initiatives to further expand international youth cooperation from October 30 to November 1. As a project, Mr. Stanonis will be presenting the 20th MUNRFE Annual Conference 2021 to ensure a dignified implementation of the event in its anniversary year.
The authors of the best projects will be awarded the status of "Leader of International Cooperation", which implies further consulting and organizational assistance from Rosmolodezh. The winning projects will also be included in the Rosmolodezh Action Plan for 2021.
