MUNRFE has co-organized the ASEAN Week in Vladivostok
The MUNRFE and the ASEAN Centre in MGIMO organized events in frames of the Regional edition of the ASEAN Week in Vladivostok.
On December 10-11, MUNRFE welcomed students from the Moscow Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and experts of the ASEAN Centre. The program of the Regional ASEAN Week included a thematic quest at the Vladivostok sites related to Southeast Asia, an address by the Permanent Mission of Russia to ASEAN and the Ambassador of Cambodia, a lecture by Dr. Victor Sumsky, ASEAN Centre Leading Expert, on the topic “ASEAN and the challenges of the 21st century” as well as a workshop on “ASEAN and climate change”.
The ASEAN Centre in MGIMO is one of the long-standing partners of the MUNRFE. The history of cooperation includes a large number of joint projects and initiatives. In particular, in 2021, an internship of two MUNRFE members has been conducted at the Center.
