MUNRFE Leadership Program finished with the anniversary tenth participation in the National Model United Nations - New York 2021 held on March 28-31. As a result, MUNRFE team (the only Russian delegation) was recognized as the recipient of the “Outstanding Delegation” and two Position Paper awards.
On February 24, the representatives of the MUNRFE delegation to the National Model UN - New York 2021 took part in a virtual tour organized by the United Nations Secretariat. The delegation was invited to a one-hour virtual tour by the NMUN-NY Organizing Committee.
The members of the MUNRFE delegation to the National Model United Nations – New York 2020 were honored with several prizes despite the cancellation of the NMUN-NY this year because of COVID-19. Daria Kurushina (General Assembly First Committee) and Christina Tolmacheva (General Assembly Second Committee) have got the Position Paper Awards for their outstanding work.
On February 3-6, MUNRFE representative Yana Linkevich made a trip to Bangkok, Thailand, having won a video contest organized by ASEAN Center in MGIMO University. During her cultural program, Yana was provided with an opportunity to make official visits to the Russian Embassy in Thailand, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) headquarters, and Thammasat University. On the final day of the journey, she took a sightseeing tour over the city.
On the 4th of April 2014, MUNRFE delegation to National MUN in New York (Ms. Ksenia Shevtsova, Mr. Alexander Yugai, Mr. Lavrentiy Pak, Ms. Anna Ivanova, Mr. Jesse Thomas and Mr. Ksenia Severinova) was invited for a meeting in the World Bank Headquarters in Washington D.C. This meeting has become real thanks to the officer from World Bank office in Moscow Ms. Yulia Komagaeva, who attended the XII International MUNRFE Conference in December 2013 in Vladivostok as an invited expert at the World Bank simulation at the Conference.
