On October 6, MUNRFE Blagoveshchensk Club successfully conducted the Final Debates as the conclusion of Autumn Master Classes (MC). As the result of the debates, Mr. Shen Zeyu was recognized as “The best delegate” and Mr. Igor Nurgali received “The best speech” award.
The agenda item of the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture, "Promotion of international cooperation in the struggle to illicit traffic in cultural property and its damage to the cultural heritage of nations", was put forward for discussion. During the debates, delegates showed their public speaking skills and knowledge obtained at the project as well as fully expressed their desire to negotiate and cooperate.
MUNRFE is delighted to introduce its new Deputy Executive Director Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva.
For recent years this lady demonstrates her bright enthusiasm and commitment towards the Organization. Previously, Alexandra served on various leadership positions both on Club level being the Vice-President and Acting President of Vladivostok Club and in the sphere of project management exercising the duties of Under-Secretary-General for General Assembly Affairs and Conference Management at Far Eastern Model UN 2017 as well as Secretary-General at Far Eastern Model UN 2018. Ms. Kosyreva has personally demonstrated high-level professionalism and diplomatic skills having successfully participated in National Model UN conferences in Kobe, Japan and New York, USA and having been granted with individual and team awards, as well as she was welcomed in the Secretariat of WFUNA international initiatives for two times in a row.
On the 2nd of October, MUNRFE Vladivostok Club conducted the Presidential Elections - one of the key events that define the entire work of the Club for the term. The event comprised two parts: the report of the former Presidential Team, and the Elections followed by the Presidential Statement of the candidate. As the result of Elections, MUNRFE welcomes Mr. Aleksei Stanonis as a new President of MUNRFE Vladivostok Club and his newly-appointed Vice-Presidents, Mr. Andrew Moon and Mr. Vsevolod Cheresov.

The event comprised two parts: the report of the former Presidential Team, and the Elections followed by the Presidential Statement of the candidate. As the result of Elections, MUNRFE welcomes Mr. Aleksei Stanonis as a new President of MUNRFE Vladivostok Club and his newly-appointed Vice-Presidents, Mr. Andrew Moon and Mr. Vsevolod Cheresov. At the beginning, the former Presidential Team, namely Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva and Mr. Aleksei Stanonis, presented the report, outlining major spheres of work during the previous term, main successes and drawbacks. Later on, the Presidential Statement was introduced by the nominated candidate.
The new semester brings new amazing opportunities for MUNRFE to implement various new initiatives, but it is still very significant to keep the tradition of conducting the MUNRFE Autumn Master Classes. On September 28 the Big Presentation of the Vladivostok MC 2018 was successfully carried out at Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and gathered more than 230 students from FEFU, Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, and Vladivostok high schools.
At the Big Presentation, the keynote FEFU speaker – Deputy Vice President for International Relations Ms. Natalia A. Stupnitskaya delivered her welcoming address to attendees and emphasized that FEFU is always ready to provide students with assistance to open a new world of bright opportunities. Furthermore, the Referent Manager of Far Eastern Branch of “Russkiy Mir” Foundation Ms. Elisaveta Lutsenko outlined the fruitful cooperation between MUNRFE and “Russkiy Mir” as well as shared her own experience of being a participant at the Vladivostok MC.
According to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok annually hosts the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) – a high level meeting aimed at the strengthening Russia’s integration into the Asia-Pacific Region. Traditionally, MUNRFE was among the main organizers of the EEF Youth Platform. This year the Youth Platform consisted of the Youth Hi-Tech Pavilion and Lecture Course Program. The latter was coordinated by Mr. Vitaly Savenkov, MUNRFE Governing Council Chairman, as its Program Director, and Ms. Polina Varfolomeeva (Vladivostok Club member) served as Assistant Program Director. Besides the Youth Platform, the following MUNRFE members assisted FEFU International Office in implementation of the International APEC Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education: Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva (Vladivostok Club Acting President), Ms. Galina Salnikova (Public Information Junior Associate), Ms. Julia Nedelkina (Program Junior Associate), Ms. Alexandra Chernysheva (Vladivostok Club Cabinet member), Ms. Anastasia Vrishch (Vladivostok Club member).
