Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club invites students of Khabarovsk universities to take part in one of its most developing and unique projects “MUN School: Broadening the Global Vision”. The first Presentation of “MUN School: Broadening the Global Vision” was successfully conducted in the Pacific National University on September 26th. Students from Khabarovsk State Academy of economics and law, Far Eastern State Transport University, the Russian Presidential Academy of national economy and public administration and Pacific National University have already demonstrated their interest in MUN School and MUNRFE’s activities. Coordinators still keep receiving calls and messages from university students and high school students willing to participate in MUN School. Thus, on October 3rd at 18:00 the Presentation of MUN School in the Pacific National University will be conducted one more time! On the 18th of September Vladivostok MUNRFE Club started to run one of the most important projects of the year – Autumn Master-Classes “Journey to Success”. The Big Presentation took place in Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service and gathered more than 50 people. Vitaliy Savenkov, Director-General of MUNRFE, Alexander Yugai, the President of Vladivostok Club, Alyona Filimonova and Olga Katina, Coordinators of AMC “Journey to Success”, performed with introduction speeches for participants of the Big Presentation. Throughout participating in the Master-Classes “Journey to Success”, high school and university students will get a great opportunity to improve their leadership skills and get knowledge from different spheres such as goal-setting, time-management, public speaking and debates.

With the amount of more than 50 participants gathered, the Big Presentation of AMC “Journey to Success” became one of the most successful among the last projects in VSUES. We express our gratitude to Coordinators’ team and those helping them to implement this project and wish luck with further running of this Master-Classes. The delegation of MUNRFE representing Romania at the Model United Nations 2014 Istanbul Conference (MUNIST 2014) was granted several awards under the leadership of Mr. Lavrentiy Pak (Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service) as an adviser. Exactly, Ms. Victoriya Yavorskaya (Far Eastern Federal University) was recognized as an “Outstanding Delegate” in the Council of the European Union and Mr. Vladislav Ulanov (Pacific National University) was awarded with a “Honorable Mention Delegate” title in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Council for showing their high-level performance. It is worth mentioning that these delegates got an opportunity to participate in the MUNIST 2014 after their victory at the V Regional MUNRFE Conference in Khabarovsk. Obviously, they clearly proved and demonstrated their competence among the other 300 delegates at the Conference held on August, 18-22, at the Yeditepe University, Istanbul.

As the leaves change in Autumn and the snow melts in Spring, every new semester brings students a new start and very soon Vladivostok MUNRFE Club will start traditional Fall Master-Classes. Our Organization welcomes again those who are willing to develop the world around and develop themselves.

This Fall Master-Classes named “Four Weeks for Achievements” are going to be conducted in Far East Federal University (FEFU). For upcoming four weeks students will dive into a completely new exciting ambience full of conceptual lectures, unusual trainings and new people with ambitious goals. The Fall Master-Classes will give those willing a chance not simply to develop their English, but to level-up the elocution and leadership skills, meet prosperous and daring people and, what is the most important, discover new perspective of their personality. Finally, in the very end of the Fall Master-Classes the Model United Nations Conference is conducted as the final practical exam for graduates.

This project will start from the Big Presentation scheduled on September 19th, 6 p.m. in FEFU Campus, building A, level 6. The Fall Master-Classes 2014 are waiting for you!

MUNRFE is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Ksenia O. Shevtsova as the Executive Director. This new officer of MUNRFE Board possesses an outstanding range of achievements, having been a member of two MUNRFE Clubs prior her appointment. Throughout her career in MUNRFE, Ms. Shevtsova successfully performed the duties of the Vice-President and President of Vladivostok Club, represented MUNRFE as a delegate at the Asia-Pacific International Model UN 2012 in Bangkok and the New York Global Young Leaders Summit 2013, and served as a Chairperson at the National Model UN 2014 – New York. Currently, Ms. Shevtsova is in charge of the Annual MUNRFE Conference 2014 in Vladivostok as the Under-Secretary-General for Conference Management.

On September, 05, the Presidential Elections were conducted in Vladivostok. According to the unanimous vote of the Club, the Vice-President of the previous term, Mr. Alexander Yugay was elected to serve as the President of the Club. On behalf of MUNRFE we would like to express our sincere congratulations to Mr. Yugay with his regular promotion. This person is a true example of a devoted and responsible MUNRFE member, who is passionate to bring a positive change to his Club and the Organization. Moreover, we would like to congratulate a beautiful and smart lady Ms. Victoria Yavorskaya, who will assist Mr. Yugay as the Vice-President of the Club.
