MUNRFE Annual Conference 2020 has been relocated into online format
Model United Nations of the Russian Far East regretfully announces the relocation of the Annual Conference 2020 (December 3-7) into the online format. Unfortunately, while the Conference starts in three months, the epidemiological situation is still difficult, and the public authorities give no guaranty that the restrictive measures regarding the public events will be canceled in December.
The registration for the Annual Conference 2020 is now open and available on the registration page.
Welcome a new Blagoveshchensk Club President
As the new semester began, the Presidential Elections of the MUNRFE Blagoveshchensk Club has been conducted on September 12. Having established herself as a responsible, trustful, and ambitious person, Ms. Anna Ivankina was re-elected for the second term by the unanimous vote of the Club members.
MUNRFE Executive Director visits Amur State University
On September 10, the MUNRFE Executive Director Mr. Aleksei Stanonis visited Amur State University and conducted a meeting with Ms. Olga Pelevina, the AmSU Dean of the International relations department. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Marina Zagibina, associate professor of the Department of Translation and Cross-cultural Communication at AmSU and MUNRFE alumna.
Welcome a new MUNRFE Assistant Executive Director Ms. Daria Zlydar
On August 6, 2020, Daria Zlydar was appointed as the new MUNRFE Assistant Executive Director. Currently, she is a 4th-year B.A. student of International Relations at Far Eastern Federal University.
Before being appointed as the Assistant Executive Director Ms. Zlydar committed meaningfully to the MUNRFE Vladivostok Club’s activities and occupied the position of the Vladivostok Club President and then the Senior Associate for Development.
Ms. Daria Zlydar joined MUNRFE in 2017 and since that time she has been a delegate to five MUN Conferences. Along with her teammates, she received the “Outstanding Delegation” award at the FEMUN 2018, as well as the Outstanding Delegate”, “Best Document”, and “Outstanding Delegation” awards in frames of the MUNRFE AC 2018.
Welcome a new MUNRFE Executive Director Mr. Aleksei Stanonis
On 29 July 2020, the Advisory Council has elected Aleksei Stanonis as the new MUNRFE Executive Director.
Before occupying the position of the Executive Director, Aleksei had served as the Acting ED (April 2020 – July 2020), Deputy ED (October 2019 – April 2020), Assistant ED (April 2019 – October 2019), Vladivostok Club President (October 2018 – March 2019), Vladivostok Club Vice-President (March 2018 – October 2018). Currently, he has a bachelor's degree in International Relations, Institute of Oriental Studies - School of Regional and International Studies, Far Eastern Federal University.

The United Nations is marking its 75th anniversary at a time of a great challenge, including the worst global health crisis in its history. It is clear that the world after COVID-19 pandemic will drastically change, thus the United Nations needs setting new priorities for the future prosperity.
