MUNRFE School of International Relations by Vladivostok Club


On March, 2, Vladivostok MUNRFE Club launched a project “MUNRFE School of International relations” on the basis of Far Eastern Federal University. It is clear, that young people should be familiar with the main principles of the international politics in order to analyze incoming information in correct way, especially today when a lot of political changes and international conflicts are taking place. Moreover, “MUNRFE School of International relations” coordinated by Ms. Diana Tszya and Ms. Daria Kiseleva will assist the delegates from Vladivostok in their preparation for the Regional MUNRFE Conference 2015. Although this project was prepared mostly for the Club members, every person interested in international relations is able to join of the project.

New Cabinet of Vladivostok MUNRFE Club


The new semester for Vladivostok Club has starting from the leadership transition. According to the Presidential elections held on 12th of February in Far Eastern Federal University, Ms. Victoria Yavorskaya was elected as the President of Vladivostok Club. The newly elected President has appointed Ms. Alexandra Gritsenko as her Vice-President. Lately, the Cabinet selection process was conducted in the mid-February. The level of competitiveness was extremely high since the Presidential Team has nominated 9 candidates for 5 seats in the organ. Under the decision made by the Club, the following people became the members of Vladivostok Club Cabinet: Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova, Ms. Anastasia Popova, Ms. Olga Katina, Ms. Daria Kiseleva, Ms. Anastasia Yermoshina.

New Cabinet of Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club


In the end of the year 2014 Khabarovsk Club finally managed to organize a successful leadership transition – the Club has elected its new President Ms. Anastasia Stasyuk. The newly elected headed the Club at the Annual MUNRFE Conference 2014, while the former President of the Club Ms. Elena Kiseleva was promoted to the position of a Counselor by MUNRFE Board. Ms. Kiseleva has personally led the Club for almost 1.5 years and has prepared a solid ground for future changes and accomplishments in Khabarovsk Territory by MUNRFE.

After the glorious success at the Annual Conference 2014, Khabarovsk Club has conducted the selection process of its governing organ – the Cabinet. Finally, the President announced the following Club members to be included in the Cabinet: Ms. Alisa Makarova (Vice-President), Ms. Olga Kobzeva, Ms. Anna Penkova, Mr. Vladimir Volkunovich.

MUNRFE conducts the selection process of FEFU delegation to Moscow International Model UN 2015


Model United Nations of the Russian Far East is happy to conduct the selection process of the delegation from Far Eastern Federal University to the Moscow International Model UN 2015 for the third year in a row in cooperation with FEFU Department of Youth Affairs and FEFU United Council of Students. The largest Model UN conference in Russia will take place on 19-24 April 2015 and traditionally will be hosted by a leading Russian university in terms of international relations research - MGIMO-University.

In order to participate in the selection process you need to fill in the application form (in Russian language) and submit it to board@munrfe.ru by the deadline of January 31, 23:59 (VLAT). Any full-time FEFU student, including BA, MA and PhD programs, is eligible to apply. Candidates applying to participate in committees in foreign languages are especially welcomed. Up to 12 candidates will be selected for an interview and the best will represent FEFU at MIMUN 2015 having their travel costs covered by the University (after being considered by FEFU Department of Youth Affairs). Annual MUNRFE Conference 2014 report

| Annual Conference

The Annual MUNRFE Conference 2014 has brought together more than 50 young leaders from Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Mirny, and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy in Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service on December, 26-31. Delegates participated in the work of four committees: Security Council, General Assembly, Food and Agriculture Organization and World Bank. For the first time in the history of MUNRFE the working language of simulated General Assembly was Russian. Under the solid leadership by the Under-Secretary-General for Conference Management Ms. Ksenia O. Shevtsova, the Conference has acquired a list of outstanding partners: OJSC “Sberbank of Russia” as the General Partner, and OJSC “Vladkhleb” and Like Hostel Vladivostok as Official Partners. This bright event finished on December, 31, with the sounds of Kremlin chimes, when the clock struck 12 and the year of 2014 was finally over. For those, who proved to be the best throughout 35 hours of debates, that night became unique and triumphal.

MUNRFE officials participated in the Model UN Workshop in Tokyo by the UN Secretariat


On November, 22-24, MUNRFE officials took part in the Model UN Workshop held in Meiji University, Tokyo, and organized by the United Nations Department of Public Information. MUNRFE Director-General, Mr. Vitaliy E. Savenkov, and President of Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club, Ms. Elena Kiseleva, were the only representatives from the Russian Federation among more than 200 delegates and faculty from 38 countries. The entire Workshop was conducted by UN diplomats, namely Acting Head of the UN Department of Public Information, Mr. Maher Nasser; former UN Under-Secretary-General and Japanese Permanent Representative to the UN, H.E. Mr. Kiyotaka Akasaka; Project Manager of the UN Department of Public Information, Mr. William Yotive. Moreover all the participants were addressed by Mr. Kenichi Fukumiya, President, Meiji University; Mr. Kenichi Matsuda, Director, United Nations Planning and Administration Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan; Ms. Kaoru Nemoto, Director, United Nations Information Centre, Tokyo; Mr. Tomohito Shinoda, Vice-President, International University of Japan.
