More than 200 students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Russia were gathered together in Jakarta, Indonesia from September 8th to 12th, 2015 to take part in the Indonesia Model United Nations (IMUN) 2015, whereas. MUNRFE delegation also took part in this big event. According to the results of the Regional Conference 2015 held in Blagoveshchensk, Ms. Anastasia Stasyuk (Khabarovsk), Ms. Alexandra Gritsenko (Vladivostok), Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova (Vladivostok), and Mr. Ivan Kumets (Vladivostok) under the advisership of Ms. Victoria Yavoskaya were granted with a chance to represent the Organization at the IMUN and they accomplished this goal successfully. Being the representatives of Romania, our delegates received 4 individual awards: Ms. Victoria Yavorskaya became the Best Delegate; while Ms. Anastasia Stasyuk, Mr. Ivan Kumets, and Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova got Outstanding Delegate awards.
The Model United Nations of the Russian Far East and the ASEAN Centre in MGIMO-University launch the Third Photo Contest “Russia as Seen by ASEAN Students and ASEAN as Seen by Russian Students”. The participation is free and open. The Contest has one round. The ASEAN Centre accepts the photos for the Contest together with the participant's form up to September 20, 2015 at the following e-mail address asean.russia.photo@gmail.com.
The Photo Contest has three nominations:

2. Traditions and modernity
3. Everyday life: amazing and incredible
Each participant can present photos in several nominations. The Contest will result in a photo exhibition during the Third ASEAN-Russia Youth Summit in Vladivostok. The Jury will award the best photos in each nomination.
On August 14-27, 2015 the annual Summer Program for high school students “FireStarter 2015” was successfully implemented on the base of “Rhythm-10” in Vladivostok under the leadership of Ms. Elena A. Kiseleva. This year FireStarter gathered 48 brightest and outstanding high school students from more than 10 cities and towns of the Russian Far East, namely Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Amursk, Belogorsk, Novobureiskiy, Troitskoe, Artyom, Fokino, Ussuriysk, and Vladivostok.
The Organizing Committee invites young people from Russia and Southeast Asia willing to contribute to Russia-ASEAN relations and to take part in the Third Russia-ASEAN Youth Summit, which will be conducted on October 8–11, 2015 in Vladivostok, Russia under the auspices of Russia-ASEAN Dialogue Partnership.
The Summit is organized by Far Eastern Federal University and MGIMO-University in the partnership with youth-led organization “Model United Nations of the Russian Far East”, Global Media Project “Russia Beyond the Headlines”, International multimedia news agency “Rossiya Segodnya”, ASEAN Moscow Committee, and Russian International Affairs Council. The working language of the summit is English.

On May, 5, after the Regional MUNRFE Conference 2015 there has been the XXVI MUNRFE Presidential Council conducted. The agenda for the Council included only one item – Elections of the Director-General. According to the decision #1 of the XXIII Presidential Council the term of Mr. Vitaly E. Savenkov as the Director-General is expiring on July, 1, 2015, thus a new vote needed to be done.
In accordance with the provisions of MUNRFE Charter, the representatives of all 3 MUNRFE Clubs together with the Board casted affirmative votes to support the second term of the current Director-General, consequently Mr. Savenkov was re-elected unanimously. Taking this fact into account, the composition of the Board has not been changed – Ms. Ksenia O. Shevtsova continued to serve as MUNRFE Executive Director.
On May, 2-5, in Blagoveshchensk the Regional MUNRFE Conference 2015 has been successfully conducted on the premises of the Amur State University. Its Acting Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Dr. Lyudmila A. Ponkratova was among the key-note speakers at the Opening Ceremony, along with MUNRFE Director-General Mr. Vitaly E. Savenkov, and the Secretary-General of the Conference Mr. Jesse E. Thomas. This Conference became truly unique since for the first time in MUNRFE history and the history of the entire Model UN movement in Russia it was led by a foreign leader.
