BLAGOVESHCHENSK CLUB NEW PRESIDENTIAL TEAM


On July, 11, 2017 APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders' Program 2017 has been officially concluded. Being a co-organizer of such an important event for the whole Asia-Pacific Region, Model United Nations of the Russian Far East is proud to underscore the fact that all substantial matters were under the leadership of the members of the Organization. Throughout the Program the participants from China, Republic of Korea, Japan, New Zealand, United States, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore were gaining exclusive knowledge from the most outstanding experts and professors of the Far Easter Federal University. It is important to say that members of MUNRFE also had a chance to provide participants with all peculiarities of project-management, starting from the creation of the concept and finishing with formation of Work Breakdown Structure and calculation of the budget. For ten days the teams were preparing their final projects under the mentorship of MUNRFE advisers, namely the Executive Director Ms. Elena Kiseleva, Vladivostok Club President Ms. Yana Krasnitskaya, Ms. Ekaterina Tretiakova, Ms. Anna Timokhina and Ms. Julia Nedelkina.

APRU-FEFU ULP 2017 participants at "Okean"

In frames of the APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders' Program (ULP) 2017, its participants from around ten countries worldwide had a privilege not only to attend a set of lectures devoted to global challenges for youth in the Asia-Pacific in the fields of climate change, biomedicine, entrepreneurship as well as intercultural communication, but also to enjoy the cultural program and get acquainted more with Russian culture and especially with the city of Vladivostok. On July 8, participants attended Vladivostok bus tour organized by the MUNRFE members and Advisers of the program - Ms. Julia Nedelkina and Ms. Anna Timokhina. During the journey, the students visited the main Vladivostok sightseeings including the Eagle Nest Mount, the Square of Fighters for Soviet Power and walked across the picturesque city center. MUNRFE members were extremely delighted to plunge participants into the atmosphere of way of living of Russian people and to present all peculiarities of so-called «city of bridges» - Vladivostok.

APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders

On July 3, the APRU-FEFU Undergraduate Leaders Program 2017 has been officially opened in Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia. MUNRFE is the co-organizer of the Program leading the Project Management component of the event and providing advisers to guide the work of foreign participants.

The dates on the calendar and the sun outside the window brightly show us that the summer already at its height. Consequently, considering various opportunities for spending the August, it is important not to miss the most valuable one – participation in Summer Program «FireStarter 2017». Organized by Model United Nations of the Russian Far East jointly with children camp «Ritm-10», «FireStarter 2017» will open world of new ways to development and English language for its participants. Full immersion into the English-speaking environment will help schoolchildren to expand their vocabulary and to get the necessary language practice. Summer Program combines cheerful time-spending as active outdoor games and teambuilding trainings with an educational component which includes lectures on self-development, meetings with foreign guests, diplomats, researchers and businessmen and plenty of surprises which organizers are preparing for the participants.

On June 14, Vladivostok MUNRFE Club Vice-President Ms. Anna Timokhina and the member of the Club Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva were invited to deliver a lecture in frames of the summer camp organized by the language center «Lingva-plus» which is located in the city of Artyom. For 15 participants of 8th and 9th grades, ladies introduced MUNRFE, its values and key projects as well as described main principles of goal-setting and public-speaking. During the lecture, participants were able to practice new knowledge – they applied concepts of BHAG and SMART to the goals they have and clarified the ways how these goals can be achieved. Furthermore, schoolchildren improved their ability to perform in front of the public and learned how to catch audience attention while using 12’’ strategy.

MUNRFE highly appreciates its cooperation with other organizations and is looking forward to further collaboration in order to make an impact on the development of youth of the Russian Far East.

Russia Day has been celebrated annually on June 12 since 1992. It commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR).

This holiday is celebrated throw the whole country, in each family. In all cities, there are parades and festivals and the main squares are decorated with flags and symbols of Russia. Accompanied with state hymn the day usually ends with bright fireworks.

On this important day, we all want to be proud of the fact that we are Russians. Let each person feel free, happy, united and respected. Let no wars, natural disasters and economic crises touch us. We wish everyone prosperity, success and luck. Congratulations to the citizens of the Russian Federation!

On July 8, registration for the 23rd MUNRFE Annual Conference 2024 was opened. The Conference will be held from December 13 to December 17 on the premises of the Far Eastern Federal University.
