Valdivostok MUNRFE Club has conducted Social Project in Orphanage #2


In 1954, the UN recommended that every country should introduce a Children’s Day which will be devoted to fraternity and to comprehension among children of the world, and which will stand out by activities encouraging Children’s well-being throughout the world. Therefore on 5 of June members of Vladivostok MUNRFE Club organized Social Project regarding International Children’s Day in Orphanage #2 by conducting an interesting and interactive show for kids. During this event, children could feel like a real treasure adventures on a pirate ship by passing different competitions.

MUNRFE conducts such kind of projects every year with the main purpose to give kids perfect mood and positive feelings!

MUNRFE members had a meeting with spokesperson of the MFA of the Russian Federation


On June 8 MUNRFE Executive Director Ms. Elena Kiseleva and representatives of Vladivostok MUNRFE Club - Ms. Yana Krasnitskaya, Ms. Julia Nedelkina, Ms. Alexandra Kosyreva and Ms. Sophia Permyakova - had a privilege to attend the meeting with Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation - Ms. Maria V. Zakharova.

On the fields of the Far Eastern Media Summit 2017, which took place in Far Eastern Federal University on June, 8-10, the briefing with Ms. Maria V. Zakharova was conducted. Organized online translation of the briefing provided professors and students of FEFU with the opportunity to see the official address in real time. Ms. Zakharova highlighted the position of the Russian Federation in the international arena as well as the issues related to the states foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East. The external character of the meeting has led to the shift to the development of the Russian Far East and the role of the region in the Pacific Rim. After the briefing audience had a chance to participate in the discussion with Ms. Zahkarova and get comprehensive answers on the acutest questions of global agenda.

MUNRFE pays tribute to the celebration of the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers


One of the main purposes of the United Nations lays out in the maintenance of international peace and security. United Nations Peacekeeping forces are represented by more than 113,000 military, police and civilian personnel in 16 peacekeeping operations on four continents. In order to pay tribute to the courage and immense contribution to achieve global peace of peacekeepers of these people, 29 May is proclaimed to be an International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers.

Model United Nations of the Russian Far East would like to express its deepest appreciation to this celebration and feels a huge honor to all Blue Helmets for their constant work towards a peaceful life of millions of people all over the world.

Let us invest in peace by promoting this idea everywhere and ensure the implementation of basic ideas of the Untied Nations.

Vladivostok MUNRFE Club has successfully conducted a Climate Education Project. 


On May 22-27 members of Vladivostok MUNRFE Club had a unique opportunity to listen to the lectures of the top lecturers from the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).

Dr. Alexey Kokorin presented the lecture about the affection of natural and anthropogenic factors on climate change. Being granted with such honor to fully immerge into a flood of new exclusive information for 2 hours, members of the Club were able to understand more peculiarities of this comprehensive topic and ask questions to the leading expert in the field of environment-related research. Dr. Kokorin has been a project leader and key expert of more than 20 projects on climate change problems, mainly relating to the UNFCCC negotiation process and climate policy in Russia along with Central Asia countries, and he shared his experience with future generation of young leaders of the Organization.

MUNRFE Executive Director selected for the WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2017


MUNRFE Executive Director, Ms. Elena A. Kiseleva has successfully passed international selection process for the position at the WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2017 hosted by the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), Kyung Hee University College of International Studies and Hope to the Future Association. WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2017 will be implemented on July 24-28 in the Kyung Hee University Global Campus. Ms. Kiseleva has successfully completed international selection process having become the only representative from Russia among 20 selected trainers worldwide. Moreover, based on her performance during the interview process and MUN background, especially in the field of UN4MUN, Ms. Kiseleva was appointed as the Lead Trainer by the organizers of the program.

MUNRFE representatives selected for the WEMUN Expo 2017 in Beijing, China


MUNRFE Director-General, Mr. Vitaly E. Savenkov and MUNRFE Executive Director, Ms. Elena A. Kiseleva were selected as a part of the Secretariat for the WEMUN Expo Conference, that shall be implemented on August 3-6 at the Beijing Olympic Convention Center in Beijing, China. Both candidates became the only representatives from the Russian Federation in the Secretariat of the conference. Mr. Savenkov will be performing the duties of the Security Council Director for the University division, whereas Ms. Kiseleva was selected as the Security Council Director for the High School division.

The conference will be implemented applying UN4MUN Concept and will gather around 1000 participants worldwide. WEMUN Expo is an internationally recognized Model United Nations platform headquartered in Beijing, China. It constitutes the largest permanent Model UN conference in Asia and gathers around 1500 delegates from 30 countries.
